Kevin Fowler makes 100% pure country music. Not the slick, homogenized stuff that tends to dominate the country radio airwaves today, but the country music that keeps the throngs dancing and drinking in the honky-tonks, dancehalls, nightclubs, roadhouses, and cantinas across the land.

--== Supreme TX Country music ==-- - Pat Green is the king of modern Texas Country but Kevin Fowler should be right on his heels now that Bring It On has hit the stores. I thought KF would be running out of ideas and I was hesitant to buy this new release thinking he may have already written and sang his best stuff. Quite the contrary.. It would be one thing if KF could only WRITE funny, witty, sarcastic, catchy songs. But the thing is he can also SANG ! Long Line Of Losers got some radio play and Best Mistake.. is getting played out already, but those aren t even the best songs on here. Ain t Dead Yet is the only song I would care to discard from the disc. His duet with George Jones is great but George needs to hang it up. Of course a KF cd wouldn t be complete without jabs towards women, marraige and relationships and you ll find that here. You ll also find terrific, upbeat, twangy, rebellious country music with a little bit of new-school smack thrown in that should make any Texan proud. Hell even someone into the Nashville music scene may like this. And to top it all off, there s only ONE slow, sappy song on here. Get this disc and pick out your favs ! - Jay in Texas

Outstanding Texas Music - What can I say? Kevin is to Texas Music what Babe Ruth was to baseball!!!If you do not like this CD, you do not like Texas music!!!

Another Winner for Fowler - I never heard of this guy until I saw his name as the writer of two songs on Mark Chesnutt s great Saving The Honky Tonks album. Kevin wrote the brilliant Lord Loves The Drinking Man and Beer, Bait and Ammo. Fowler s songs were so good that I started buying his discs. This new one features more great songs from Long Line of Losers to Honky Tonk Junkie. If you like rowdy country music with a witty, poetic bent, get this CD.

Best thing since buttered bread! - Kevin Fowler is the most entertaining fresh and exciting musician ever! The album is the best thing since buttered bread!
